Specially designed to help educators and coaches inculcate values in a clear and comprehensive way, Sport Singapore’s Game-for-Life (GFL) toolkit presentssporting pursuits as opportunities for character development and learning valuable life lessons. The Game for Life workshop will equip sport coaches with a deeper understanding of the necessary skills required to intentionally design sporting activities to develop values for character development such as respect, responsibility & teamwork.

The upcoming workshop will cover:

  • Challenges coaches face through values-driven coaching
  • Principles and concepts of the Game-for-Life (GFL) framework 
  • Practical and experiential segment on GFL application for designing training plans

This workshop is suitable for coaches with the following background:

  • NCAP/SG-Coach certification or equivalent
  • Attended Values and Principles in Sports (VPS) workshop
  • Minimum 1 year of coaching experience

2.    Sign-ups are based on first come first served basis, with priority given toterritorial invasion sports coaches who meet the above prerequisites.

3.    A confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants.

4.    Maximum capacity of 30 pax.


* Note: Territorial Invasion games include any sport where one team is invading the territory of the other team. Common examples include (but not limited to): Hockey, Football, Water Polo, Basketball and Netball.
