The Singapore Sports Council has developed the National Standards for Youth Sports (NSYS) which comprises a set of 3 key principles and 9 standards that aim to remind and encourage all stakeholders involved in youth sports to support and nurture our young players. It is a set of behavioural standards that all adults delivering sport to children below 18 years old should adhere to, so as to safeguard the interests of children playing sport. Henceforth, it is essential for all coaches/instructors to be aware and comply with the recommended standards.
