Mr Abdul Rashid (Head Strength & Conditioning, Singapore Sports Institute) has conducted research examining the physiological changes and responses in Muslim athletes during the Ramadan period. In this presentation, he will share his studies’ findings and provide practical ways and strategies in which coaches can use to ensure optimal performance and adaptation in training and fasting Muslim athletes.
